February 2012

Due to my personal circumstances changing I decided to let Jambo - Keladity Wait Tan See JW go to live with Marjut Kakko in partnership at the Margate Kennel in Finland. Marjut has been breeding cockers since 1983 and I hope that Jambo will be a great asset to her kennel and to the breed in Finland. He has settled in well with Marjut and her dogs and I am waiting with great anticipation to hear how Jambo gets on being shown in Marjut's capable hands.

As I will only be at limited shows and my breeding programme is currently on hold. There will not be many updates to my site. I will however keep you all up to date as and when I can.

Wow what a fantastic day at the Birmingham National Championship Show. Jambo won the Minor Puppy Dog Class, Best Puppy Dog followed by Best Puppy In Breed under Breed Specialist Jackie Maris-Bray (Helenwood). So pleased with my boy who never put a foot wrong and showed his little socks off. It was a great achievement for me as I have never got this far before at a general championship show and even more special as it was with a dog that I have bred myself. Another day I won't forget in a hurry!!

Today I had a great day at WELKS Championship Show. Jambo qualified for Crufts 2012 being placed 3rd in the Minor Puppy Dog class. Here is a photo of him at 7 months old and coming on well.

Sorry the news page has not been updated recentley but other commitments have prevented me from attending many shows. However I did take Dolly to Crufts on 10th March 2011 and was really pleased that she was placed 2nd in her cass. See photos below

Many thanks to Magdalena - Verusdiligo Cocker Spaniels for the photos x

Crufts Critique - "Gleaming b/t with flat silky coat & expertly handled, excellent type & very close to 1, short coupled, deep body & well sprung ribs, correct topline, well rounded, muscular hindquarters, excellent legs & feet. A little excited in the final run-off which spoilt her outline" Sylvia Bunting (Mossdew).

Also waiting in the wings I have Dolly's son, young Jambo who I hope to be able to show this year. Pictured below at 5 months old.
